Bongie Melon studied Community Development at University of lilongwe. His musical career got into mainstream in 2021 when she released a mashups of Malawian songs on twitter.
Bongie Melon often uses an uptempo Afro styled beat. On the 25st of June 2021, Bongie Melon announced the dropping of his first studio EP “Melon EP” which was released 2 days later, the EP received high praise from fans in Malawi.
